OLE Process
Develop a visual narrative: Establish a overarching theme and concept for the experience. Ensure that the space is visually engaging and supports the overall context of the brand.
Use visual markers for wayfinding: Guide visitors with visual markers such as colors, symbols, or images that are repeated throughout the space. This helps people orient themselves and provides a sense of continuity.
Incorporate interactive elements: Enhance the experience by incorporating interactive elements such as touch screens, motion and audio recordings. These elements help provide more immersive experience.
Modular exhibits: Technology and communication requirements can change quickly. All exhibits should be modular and easily updatable.
Create a memorable and a learning experience: Tie back to the overall theme of experience. Our design theme is “learn something you did not know you wanted to learn’, a discovery moment that forever memorable.

Case Study:
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department selected OLE to design, theme, and install exhibit space and environmental graphics in its new state-of-the-art 120,000-square-foot Technology Center in Tustin, California. This $110 million facility is an investment by OCSD to compete with the capital-backed firms of Silicon Beach, and it needed a sleek, modern, and personalized design to match. OLE created and executed wowing designs and spaces to appeal to potential hires, dignitaries, and the everyday workers in the building.
Conducted extensive stakeholder interviews and research to gain a deep understanding of the pride and loyalty of the department
Concepted exhibit theme of “Inside the Badge” to showcase the history and future of technology in keeping peace in Orange County
Custom designed signage and graphics that impact wayfinding and foster collaboration and a sense of identity within department groups
Environmental Signage & Graphics
The OCSD Technology Center houses three distinct divisions for enhanced operation efficiency. Each division needed its own identity while cohesively fitting into the larger department. OLE used color coding and large wall graphics to showcase and differentiate each division badge.
